Balanced Nutrition for Sustained Energy and Weight Control
13 Jan 2005
Life Support is designed to bring blood sugar balance under control, satisfy hunger and keep us “feeling full”! The human brain fees on glucose – period!. Not sucrose (white sugar) or alcohol! In fact, every cell of the body requires glucose, lecithin, water, oxygen, protein, vitamins, minerals, Co-Enzyme Q10 and antioxidants to maintain normal cell function, prevent tumors, various diseases and prevent rapid aging. There is no need in human nutrition for sucrose. White sugar, caffeine and alcohol actually use our most valuable human resources (insulin and adrenalin) in their process of assimilation.
Life Support provides easily assimilated nutrition, including glucose, albumin (egg white protein), free form amino acids, rice protein, chromium (essential to insulin production) and chia seeds (as staple of the American Indian’s winter diet; these seeds contain protein, vitamins, minerals and fiber). Chia seeds alone can support life but they can only be eaten in very small quantities, as they absorb water and swell in the stomach and upper intestine. Even a pinch of chia seeds can make you feel full and satisfied.
Compulsive eating, smoking and drinking are all related to an insatiable appetite for glucose – especially glucose support to the brain. Sugar may lead to compulsive disorders. It is addictive and leads us to crave more sugar thereby denying the body of it’s essential sugar (glucose) derived from fats, proteins and substantial (long chain) carbohydrates (whole grains, seeds, beans, etc.).
